Documentation of this fellowship will include daily journaling during our New Zealand visit, photo and video documentation, maintaining this Wiki site,   a powerpoint detailing new learning to share with school colleagues,  presentations to district-wide primary teachers during in-service meetings, an open house presentation to parents and students in September, and  a presentation to teachers, students and community members at the Vermont Rural Partnership Fall Retreat.  (See Checklist.)

 

Plan for Implementation (included in our grant proposal)

Checklist 

Upon returning from New Zealand, we will reflect upon our fellowship experiences and prioritize the key components of literacy and math instruction gleaned from our observations and interviews with New Zealand teachers, students, and administrators. We will align our new learning with our existing methods and curricula. We will create a map for implementation of newly learned instructional methods. (See Checklist.)

HI Donna! I thought we were able to include the Boston expenses...is that no longer the case?

We did include the Boston leg of the trip. It is listed toward the bottom as "Park and Fly."

Thanks for putting this on the wiki Donna! Let's figure out when we can
knock of the goals and objectives...I will know better tomorrow as to how many
more "neg" meetings I will have this week.
