Kia ora (Hello in Maori),

         Today is Friday, July 25.  Yesterday we drove over the New Zealand Alps on the South Island.  It was very snowy!!! and beautiful.  Today we drove up the west side of the South Island.   We looked out at the Tasman Sea and stopped to look at the pancake rock formations.  It was like walking through a tropical jungle.  Now we are driving north toward the top of the South Island.  We have taken LOTS of pictures.  We will add them as soon as we can, so check back soon.
